Building a new home can be daunting. Many people are worried about the financial side of funding a new build.
There are lots of horror stories about hidden costs, variations, price overruns, delays, product defects and poor workmanship – our mission is to take all of those worries away from you early on, so you enjoy the process.
Afterall, building a new home is a dream, so let’s keep it that way!
As a ZB client you get:
Price Certainty
Everything is included in your contract price (we leave the curtains/blinds up to you). That way you don’t have to worry about going over budget, or finding extra cash towards at the end of the build, so moving in is much more enjoyable and stress free.
You’ll be provided with a full list of specifications, so you know exactly what your new home will become.
Completion Certainty
If you’re renting or selling, you need a reliable completion date to work towards. You need to know when to give your landlord notice, or when to settle if you’re selling an existing home.
While there are external factors that impact on how long a build takes e.g. the weather, we provide you with an accurate time frame for completion a month out from your build. That way you can go ahead and make all the necessary arrangements you need to.
Lots of Choices
The fun part of building a new home is making it your own; we want you to enjoy this experience! We pride ourselves on providing our clients with a full range of options. Our team stay on the cusp of what is new and exciting, so you are aware of the latest products and technology.
You can choose to up spec, spec down or invest more in some rooms and less in others. You can even build an Eco-home or Passive Home. The choice is entirely yours.
Master Builders
ZB Homes are members of the New Zealand Master Builders Association.
Master Builders is different to other associations in that members have to meet rigorous entry criteria that includes being licenced and having a trade qualification. What’s more, to maintain membership we need to demonstrate that we keep up-to-date with the latest building techniques and training.

We bring together some of the best contractors in the business, long serving contractors that have grown with us. They understand our processes, enjoy working for us and are committed to our clients.
Great Communication
There is a lot involved with building, so it helps if there is someone you can talk to along the way. Our team is always here for you. We make ourselves available to answer your questions and provide you with the support you need.
Transparency
As part of the ZB experience, you’ll have access to a qualified and experienced Project Manager who will keep you well informed throughout your build. You’ll also have access to our Co-construct software.
This easy-to-use software provides you with 24/7 access to building selections, upgrade options, photos and conversations. You’ll be able to see exactly what’s happening on your build. You also have the flexibility to request changes and see what they’ll cost, so you stay in control of your money.
Quality Fixtures & Materials
We only source quality, reputable fixtures, fittings and appliances that we know will stand the test of time. So, you can be confident of your warranties.
We support local businesses, retailers and contractors, so your money is invested back into the community. Our plumbing and electrical materials are sourced from reputable NZ based suppliers and are chosen for their reliability and extensive warranties.
